Admit it, you probably live in world A. If so, you might be wondering why the past century resulted in you living there, instead of world B. No one has given you a good answer. Here are several things you might have heard:
“We have iPhones, and you can live your life on them!”
“After all, you can travel to other planets in a video game!”
“We live in a zero sum world. There are simply not enough resources to maintain our current standard of living,”
But none of these answers have satisfied you. However, we here at Swift Enterprises are uniquely capable of giving you the real reason. Why? We are time travelers.
Through our travels, we have amassed a library of lost learning, forbidden books, and other varieties of information. We have determined that at some point in the middle of the last century, the destruction of certain principles of society put us on the path to world A. However, this is not irreversible. The world is shaped by choices, and the choices we make determine the world we live in.
